10 Best Movie Credit Cards In India – Watch Movies, Get Benefits!
Eligibility: This is a secured card and requires a Fixed Deposit in your name, with a minimum deposit of Rs 20,000 and tenure of at least six months.
Benefits: Three reward points are given on spending every 100 Rupees. You can avail a discount of Rs 100 on BookMyShow twice a month. The card also gives one complementary visit to domestic lounges at airports, in each quarter.
Drawbacks: APR is high at 40% and the card is issued only against an FD.
2) Kotak PVR Credit Card: This card is suitable for those who watch movies, often. This card was launched by Kotak Mahindra Bank in association with PVR Cinemas.
Eligibility: There are no special requirements and the card is issued only to Indian Residents.
Benefits: Two free movie tickets on spending Rs 15,000 in a billing cycle. Free insurance from PVR protect in case the card is lost. Add on card can be availed which can be used by a family member.
Drawbacks: Joining fee and APR is high.
3) HDFC Titanium Times Credit Card: This card offers numerous benefits. The card offers discounts on movie tickets, dining, lifestyle, fuel and so on.
Eligibility: There is no special requirement as such. The card is issued to those above 21 years.
Benefits: 2 reward points on spending every 150 Rupees. Discount of up to Rs 1,800 on movie tickets each year. Welcome voucher which can be used for shopping or dining.
Drawbacks: If you don’t pay your credit card bill within the interest-free period, then be prepared to pay high interest. Need to wait longer to encash reward points.
4) HSBC Premier Master Card: This card is issued only to premier HSBC bank customers. The card offers lots of benefits. Every premier customer of HSBC bank must have this card on their list.
Eligibility: Minimum annual income of Rs 5 Lakhs. A balance of Rs 5 Lakhs must be maintained each quarter.
Benefits: Two reward points on spending every 100 Rupees. Avail cashback of 50% on PVR cinemas. On spending Rs 75,000 a month, get a voucher of 1,000 Rupees on BookMyShow. Two free visits to international lounges at the airport. A 1.5% cash back on an International transaction. APR is low at 29.9%.
Drawbacks: This card is issued only to the HSBC premier customers earning more than Rs 5 Lakhs a year. Minimum balance of Rs 5 Lakhs must be maintained each quarter.
5) SBI Card Elite: This card targets elite customers. The SBI Card Elite offers lot of benefits.
Eligibility: There is no special requirement as such. Just need to have sizeable stable income.
Benefits: Welcome gift vouchers, which could be used on Yatra, Hush Puppies, Marks and Spencer worth Rs 5,000. Two free tickets on BookMyShow each month. Two reward points on spending every 100 Rupees. Spending Rs 5 Lakhs over a year gives you 20,000 reward points.
Drawbacks: APR is high at 40%. Joining and annual maintenance fees are quite high.
6) Citibank Cash Back Credit Card: This card offers cashbacks on so many things. This card is undoubtedly the king of cashbacks.
Eligibility: There is no special requirement. Need to have good Credit Score.
Benefits: Cashback of 5% on movie tickets, maximum of 100 Rupees each month can be availed. 5% cashback on utility bills paid through certain gateways. Cashback of 5% on telephone bills each month. 0.5% cashback on other transactions. 20% discount is offered on 2,000 restaurants tied up under the Citibank Cash Back Credit Card across India.
Drawbacks: There is a capping on cashback received of 100 Rupees on movie tickets each month.
7) ICICI Coral Credit Card: This card is suitable for making monthly payments for groceries and other household requirements. This card gives good cashback and discount benefits.
Eligibility: Minimum age to apply for the card is 23 years. Minimum income of Rs 5.3 Lakhs a year, and this must be shown in the ITR filed in the previous year.

8) Axis Bank Neo Credit Card: This card is apt for those who shop online regularly. This card has good cashback and discount benefits.
Eligibility: There is no special requirement as such. The applicant must be less than 70 years of age.
Benefits: Welcome gift of movie voucher worth Rs 200. Welcome gift of voucher worth Rs 500 on Myntra. Discount of 10% on movie tickets purchased on BookMyShow. Drawbacks: Interest is high, at 3.35% a month. There is no cashback privilege.
10) IDBI Bank ‘Imperium’ Secure Credit Card: This Credit Card is designed for those who don’t have a good Credit Score. This requires a fixed deposit as security. This card offers a number of benefits.
Eligibility: Should provide a security of at least Rs 20,000 in the form of fixed deposit. Fixed deposit should be in the name of the applicant.
Benefits: 2 reward points on every Rs 150 spent on movies, dining and groceries. Welcome gift of 500 reward points. Credit limit of 85% of the security deposited.
Drawbacks: There are no free tickets offered but only reward points on movie ticket bookings.
