Ayushman Bharat Yojana is a health insurance scheme which covers more than 10 Crore families in India. Beneficiaries would be identified as per SECC data (Socio-Economic Caste Census). You and other beneficiaries are identified based on deprivation categories of D1, D2, D3, D4, D5 and D7. These are identified from SECC database. The good thing on Ayushman Bharat Yojana? There is no cap on age and size of family under the scheme.
You have to identify yourself through an Aadhaar Card, Ration Card or a Voters ID Card to avail health insurance through Modicare. You can avail treatment at Government Hospitals and empanelled Private Hospitals.
You can visit mera.pmjay.gov.in or the helpline number 14555 to check enrollment under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. It’s really simple availing benefits under Ayushman Bharat Yojana. You key in the mobile number and verify it through an OTP. You complete the KYC (Know Your Customer) online and the good thing is there’s no need of a human interface.
Take the help of Ayushman Mitra’s who assist you and other patients at empanelled hospitals. Ayushman Mitra co-ordinates between beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat Yojana and the hospitals. Ayushman Mitra’s check your documents; verify eligibility and enrollment under the scheme.
You and other beneficiaries will be given letters which would have QR Codes. The QR Codes would be scanned and a demographic authentication conducted. This is done to verify eligibility and avail the benefits under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.
