Fee Charged On Aadhaar for children:

Given below is a complete list of charges required for Aadhaar card enrolment for children:

  • No fee is charged for the process of enrolment as the cost is borne by the government.
  • No fee is charged for the biometric update of the child.
  • The applicant must pay a fee of Rs 30 for updating the demographic data.
  • In case the applicant wants to update the biometric details in the Aadhaar in future, he has to pay a fee of Rs 30.

mAadhaar for children:

mAadhaar is the official mobile application developed by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), to provide an interface to Aadhaar Number Holders to carry their demographic information. Parents of the child applicant can register their mobile number with their kid’s Aadhaar card. The mAadhaar app can be used to access the child’s Aadhaar whenever needed. The app is designed in a way to add up to 3 Aadhaar cards. So a person can manage his Aadhaar along with the child’s Aadhaar through this app. This facility can be accessed by parents of children and can be produced as identity proof.
