With digitization of banking services, a user has many options to avail these services. It is possible to check your bank account balance, even without visiting your bank branch. Banks have introduced several ways through which customers can remain updated on their account balances i.e. online banking, mobile banking, SMS services, checking balance through UPI apps or by visiting the ATM kiosks.

Online Banking: Online banking or internet banking helps customers carry out banking activities online, that were traditionally offered by banks through physical bank branches. All you need to have is a steady internet service. To check your account balance using net banking, you can log on to your net banking account using your password and login credentials on the bank’s net banking website. On the home page, you will find a range of banking facilities including account balance check or account statement. Select the icon/option to check your account balance.

Mobile Banking Apps: Mobile banking is a service offered by banks and other financial institutions, through which you and other customers can conduct financial transactions and avail banking services by downloading apps on smartphones. The apps can be downloaded on Android phones using the Google Play Store.
