How to Match PAN and Aadhaar Card Name?

If your name is different in the PAN and the Aadhaar Card, there’s serious difficulty linking PAN with Aadhaar Card. A misspelling in either the PAN or Aadhaar Card means you will never be able to link PAN with Aadhaar Card. It’s compulsory to link PAN with Aadhaar Card while filing income tax returns. The last date to link PAN and the Aadhaar Card is September 30th, 2019.

What if you can’t link PAN with Aadhaar Card? You must first check registered PAN and Aadhaar Card details. Check if date of birth, name, gender and other demographic information match in both the documents. The Unique Identification Authority of India or UIDAI issues your Aadhaar Card.  The Income Tax Department issues the Permanent Account Number or PAN.
