The new 200 Rupee Note will help reduce the burden on the Rs 100 Note. The new 200 Rupee banknotes will be issued in the Mahatma Gandhi (New) Series and will bear the signature of Dr. Urjit R. Patel, the Governor of the RBI.

If you are visually impaired there is an intaglio or raised printing of Mahatma Gandhi portrait, Ashoka Pillar emblem, raised identification mark 'H' with micro-text Rs 200, four angular bleed lines with two circles in between the lines both on the right and left sides. Now turn the note around and take a look at the reverse of the new 200 Rupee Note.
