The Ministry of Human Resource Development MHRD, is the body concerned with the development of human resource in India. The Ministry was previously known as the Ministry of Education. The MHRD is divided into two main parts:

1) The Department of School Education and Literacy, which is responsible for primary education, secondary education, adult education and literacy.

2) The Department of Higher Education, which has the responsibility of university level education, technical education and scholarship. The current MHRD minister is Prakash Javadekar.

Ministry Of Broadcasting And Information:

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is responsible for formulating and administrating rules, regulations and laws pertaining to areas of information, broadcasting, press and films in the nation. The other important responsibilities of the Ministry are Prasar Bharati and Central Board of Film Certification CBFC. Current Minister of Broadcasting and Information is Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.

Ministry For Labor And Employment

The Ministry for Labour and Employment is one of the oldest and most important Ministries under the Central Government of India. The Ministry is responsible for protecting and securing the interest of laborers in general, poor and deprived classes of society. The current Minister of Labour and Employment is Santosh Gangwar.

Ministry For Skill Development And Entrepreneurship

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship was set up Narendra Modi led NDA government in November 2014. The Ministry was set up with a view of coordinating all skill development efforts across India. The Ministry also aims to eradicate disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower. Dharmendra Pradhan is the current Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has two main components: 1) The Department of Commerce and 2) The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade.
