Ministry Of Finance

The Ministry of Finance is one of the most important Ministries under the Government of India and is responsible for the economy. The Ministry of Finance functions as the treasury of India. The Ministry of Corporate Affairs, MCA, is primarily concerned with administrating and regulating the Companies Act 2013 and 1956, the Limited Liability Partnership Act 2009 and other relevant rules and regulations. The MCA majorly deals with the regulation of Indian enterprises in industrial and services sector. Arun Jaitley is the current Minister of Corporate Affairs.

Ministry Of Road Transport And Highways

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways is the supreme apex body responsible for the formulation and administration of rules, regulations and laws pertaining to road transport and highways in India. Nitin Gadkari is the current Minister of Road Transport and Highways in India.

Ministry Of Agriculture

The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare is responsible for formulation and administration of the rules and regulations pertaining to agricultural activities in India. The Ministry of Agriculture is extremely important as agriculture has traditionally been the backbone of Indian economy. The Ministry of Women and Child Development is the supreme body responsible for formulating and administering rules, regulations and laws pertaining to women and child development across India. Maneka Gandhi is the current minister of women and child development.

Ministry For Health And Family Welfare

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is responsible for framing health policies in India. The Ministry is concerned with developing and implementing all government programs related to family planning in India. The Ministry is also responsible for ensuring supply of drugs, pharmaceuticals and healthcare services across India. The current Minister of Health and Family Welfare is Jagat Prakash Nadda.

Ministry For Human Resource Development

The Ministry of Human Resource Development MHRD, is the body concerned with the development of human resource in India. The Ministry was previously known as the Ministry of Education. The MHRD is divided into two main parts:

1) The Department of School Education and Literacy, which is responsible for primary education, secondary education, adult education and literacy.

2) The Department of Higher Education, which has the responsibility of university level education, technical education and scholarship. The current MHRD minister is Prakash Javadekar.

Ministry Of Broadcasting And Information:

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting is responsible for formulating and administrating rules, regulations and laws pertaining to areas of information, broadcasting, press and films in the nation. The other important responsibilities of the Ministry are Prasar Bharati and Central Board of Film Certification CBFC. Current Minister of Broadcasting and Information is Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore.

Ministry For Labor And Employment

The Ministry for Labour and Employment is one of the oldest and most important Ministries under the Central Government of India. The Ministry is responsible for protecting and securing the interest of laborers in general, poor and deprived classes of society. The current Minister of Labour and Employment is Santosh Gangwar.

Ministry For Rural Development

The Ministry of Rural Development is responsible for accelerating social and economic development of rural India by focusing on health, education and so on. The current Ministers of Rural Development are Narendra Singh Tomar and Ram Kripal Yadav.

Ministry For Skill Development And Entrepreneurship

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship was set up Narendra Modi led NDA government in November 2014. The Ministry was set up with a view of coordinating all skill development efforts across India. The Ministry also aims to eradicate disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower. Dharmendra Pradhan is the current Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship.

Ministry For Urban Development

Ministry of Urban Development aims at providing improved facilities in urban areas across India. It aims at improving the existing facilities by implementing latest technologies. Narendra Singh Tomar is the current Minister of Urban Development.

Ministry Of Civil Aviation

The Ministry of Civil Aviation is responsible for the development and regulation of national policies and programmes for development and administration of civil aviation for devising and implementing schemes for organized growth of civil air transport. It is also responsible for the maintenance of airport facilities, air traffic service and carriage of passengers and goods. Additionally, the Ministry is also responsible for ensuring railway safety. Suresh Prabhu is the Minister of Civil Aviation.

Ministry Of Ayush

The Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy, popularly known as the Ministry of Ayush, is a body responsible for developing education and research in the field of alternative medicines to Allopathic medicine. The current Minister of Ayush is Shripad Naik.

Ministry Of Commerce And Industry

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has two main components: 1) The Department of Commerce and 2) The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. The Ministry is responsible for formulating and implementing foreign trade policies. The current Minister of Commerce and Industry is Suresh Prabhu.
