India is a Sovereign Democratic Socialist Republic. Citizens have the right to vote. Citizens have the right to select their leaders. National Voters Day is significant in creating awareness amongst the general public, as the future of the country depends on the leaders we choose.

If the citizens don’t come forward to vote and elect the right leaders, then power and authority would fall in the wrong hands. This would seriously hamper the progress and development of India. You need to remember that choosing wrong leaders affects the lives of common people. Therefore, it is extremely important to vote and elect the right leaders who are capable of offering good governance.
