A mutual fund in India, pools and then invests your and other investor’s money, in stocks or bonds or even a mixture of both, stocks and bonds. Systematic investment plan also known as SIP, is a method of investing in mutual funds. It is not an investment by itself. You invest a certain pre-determined amount, at regular intervals of time, in the mutual fund.
