Why should your parents make a will?

A will can help them decide exactly who they want their assets to go to after their death. In the absence of a will, these will be distributed as per law and the court will appoint someone to manage it. This may result in disputes within the family. It also leads to a tedious, long-winded process of passing the assets to the loved ones.
