Aaditya Thackeray on Monday took oath as Cabinet Minister in Maharashtra government. The 29-year-old won from the Worli Assembly constituency by defeating Suresh Mane of Nationalist Congress Party, which is now part of the alliance in Maharashtra, by a margin of over 70,000 votes. The Yuva Sena chief became the first member from the Thackeray family to contest an election.
