Samantha Akkineni is enjoying the reception coming her way for her performance in Prem Kumar's Jaanu. However, the film, produced by Dil Raju, failed to rake in profits at the box-office. Though the film received positive responses from critics, it failed to translate into box office collection. Reportedly, the actress was roped in to play the female lead in director Ajay Bhupathi's Maha Samudram.
