AirAsia India, which is in the middle of a court case about foreign control and investments, plans to reopen expansion and fly International by 2018, after regulatory authorities gave it tacit approval last month. AirAsia plans to expand its fleet to 14 Airbus A320 planes by October, from the current eight. The airline will fly largely between metros and tier-II cities as it expands.
