Bengaluru IT company owner donates Rs.1crore to Tirupati Balaji temple

A Bengaluru-based devotee, who owns an IT company, has donated Rs.1 crore to the Tirupati Balaji temple. Amarnath Chowdary requested that the funds be used for temple-run Sri Venkateswara Gosamrakshana Trust meant for the welfare of cows. Officials said the donation was the fulfilment of a vow made by Chowdary for "fruitfully running a software company" floated nine years ago.
