Man Arrested In Delhi For Duping Man With Job Promise

A 27-year-old man was today arrested in Dhaula Kuan for allegedly duping an unemployed youth of crores of rupees on the pretext of getting him jobs in the army and railways, police said. The accused, identified as Pankaj Kumar Singh, a resident of Saran in Bihar was evading arrest, they said. A court at Jhunjhunu in Rajasthan had issued non-bailable warrant against him.

The Andhra Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, approved modalities for implementation of the much-awaited unemployment allowance scheme, under which degree-holder jobless youths will get Rs.1000/month from the state government. The unemployment allowance will be given to applicants aged between 22 and 35. The unemployment allowance scheme will add an additional burden of Rs.1,200 crore per annum, the government said.
