Urea may come under NBS before direct cash transfer

The government is likely to fix nutrient-based subsidy (NBS) rate for urea before rolling out the direct cash transfer(DCT) of urea subsidy to farmers accounts. The subsidy will not be universal for farmers across the country and will be based on soil health and size of the landholding. Tenant farmers would also be eligible to get the subsidy on production of valid tenancy documents.
Re-verification of mobile-subscribers post SC verdict on Aadhar

After the Supreme Court's verdict on Aadhaar, the Department of Telecom (DoT) and Unique Identity Authority of India (UIDAI) issued a joint statement stating that the government will not push for re-verification of mobile service customers. The statement also said that it will be done only if a customer opts to replace Aadhaar records with their any alternate identity or address proof.
9-yr-old girl denied treatment over Aadhaar; Union minister intervenes

A nine-year-old Noida girl who suffered from convulsions was allegedly denied treatment at a Delhi government hospital as the address on her Aadhaar card wasn't from Delhi. Tagging Union Health Minister JP Nadda, Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari tweeted, "(Delhi CM) Arvind Kejriwal why are you dividing the national capital". She was admitted to a Centre-run hospital after Nadda intervened.
