Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij on Tuesday described the AAP win in the Delhi Assembly elections as a victory of freebies. The BJP leader took to Twitter as trends indicated that the Aam Aadmi Party would sweep the Delhi polls. "Delhi ke chunaav mein muddhay haar gaye, muftkhori jeet gai (in the Delhi elections, issues lost, freebies won)," he wrote on his Twitter handle.
Amanatullah Khan made 33 illegal recruitment at Waqf Board: Delhi ACB

The Delhi government's anti-corruption branch is probing 33 alleged illegal recruitment at Delhi-Waqf-Board during the chairmanship of AAP-legislator Amanatullah Khan, after he was booked by the ACB for suspected misuse of the Board's funds, officials said. Khan is one of the 39 "star-campaigners" of the AAP for Delhi-polls scheduled for February-8. He won the assembly-election in 2015 from Okhla by defeating BJP's Brahm Singh.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday referred to Thursday's shooting incident near Jamia Millia Islamia University as he appealed to the voters to make a conscious decision when they cast vote on February 8. Tweeting a video, Mr. Kejriwal said that while his party is giving a pen and computers to students, the other party is giving guns and hate to students.
