Accenture acquires US-based IntrigoSystems

Global professional services company Accenture has announced that it has acquired Systems, Applications and Products (SAP)-based provider Intrigo Systems for an undisclosed sum. Founded in 2009, US-based Intrigo Systems would help Accenture clients build digital supply chains that manage cross-functional business decisions, collaborate with suppliers in real-time and simplify compliance, the company said in a statement.
Accenture profit forecast falls short of estimates, shares slip

Consulting and outsourcing services giant Accenture on Thursday posted a 10.4% increase in profit at $1.03 billion for the fourth-quarter ended August 31. The New York-listed company's net revenues increased 11% to $10.1 billion. Revenue from its digital, cloud and security-related services, which the company terms as "the New", accounted for more than 60% of total revenues.
