Diwali has come early for flyers with GoAir announcement of selling tickets at a starting price of Rs.1,099. Ongoing sale was started from October-15 and will be continued till October-16. It should be noted that travel-period for this offer varies from place to place. Starting fare of Rs.1,099 is applicable on flights originating from Srinagar, for a travel period from 8 Nov to 30.
Narrow escape for 180 Indigo Airlines flyers

An Indigo Airlines flight with 180 passengers on board had a narrow escape at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday. Minutes before the take off, the pilot of flight 6E743, bound for Goa, noticed a vehicle on the runway. The pilot applied the emergency brakes and averted a major disaster. No casualties were reported.
