A police-complaint has been filed against Akshay Kumar for hurting sentiments of Maratha-community. Akshay featured in a Nirma-advertisement that showed him as a Maratha warrior. In the ad, Akshay is seen returning from a battle and is immediately snubbed by his wife for dirty clothes. The complaint was filed against Khiladi Kumar at the Worli police station in Mumbai for allegedly mocking Maratha community.

Akshay Kumar shared a poster of film Mission Mangal on his social-media-account, as the movie is now-up for the theatrical run in Hong-Kong. The 52-year-old actor hopped on to Instagram to share the news with a poster for local-viewers. "Feeling proud #MissionMangal is now running with Cantonese subtitles across theatres in HongKong. @balanvidya @taapsee @aslisona @nithyamenen @TheSharmanJoshi @iamkirtikulhari #JaganShakti @foxstarhindi #CapeOfGoodFilms #HopeProductions," Akshay wrote.

Good Newwz box office collection: Day 6

Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor's new-film Good Newwz wrapped 2019 on a good note and began the New Year on an even better one. In six-days, the comedy has soared past the Rs 100 crore mark, scoring Rs.117 at the box office, said trade analyst Taran Adarsh. On the New-Year holiday, Good Newwz raked in as-much-as Rs.22-crore, pushing the total to an impressive figure.
