Criminal escapes from police station, cops punished

In a stern action for laxity which led to escape of a dreaded criminal from Alwar's Behror police station, two-head-constables were terminated, one-deputy SP, SHO and two other policemen were suspended and remaining staff of the police-station shunted to police-lines. DGP Bhupendra Singh said head constables Ramavtar and Vijaypal were terminated from the service after a preliminary inquiry found them guilty of severe laxity.
Teen Allegedly Gang-Raped In Rajasthan's Alwar, 6 Charged

Six-persons have been charged for allegedly raping a girl in Rajasthan's Alwar district, police said on Thursday. The complaint was registered at Khairthal Police Station on Tuesday on the basis of the complaint by the girl's family, they said. A case was registered under section 376-D (gang-rape) of the Indian Penal Code and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
8-Year-Old Girl Allegedly Kidnapped, Raped By Neighbour In Rajasthan

An eight-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped by her neighbour in Dholpur district of Rajasthan on Thursday. She was admitted to hospital in a critical condition, the police said. The girl was kidnapped by the accused while she was playing outside her house and was later raped, the police said. Police have assured of a thorough investigation.
