Ambati Rayudu has once again made headlines as the all-rounder opted out of representing Hyderabad in the upcoming Ranji Trophy season, citing "rampant corruption" prevailing at Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA). Ambati-Rayudu, who made volte-face on his retirement and made himself available for Hyderabad in domestic-cricket, has rubbished the U-turn claims on his decision. "It is not a U-turn as for good-reasons I believe I have good-amount of cricket left in me. My top-priority is now to get runs for Hyderabad." I declined lucrative offers to play in T10, T20-leagues in Canada and other countries.

The sarcasm in Ambati Rayudu spelling out his World Cup plans after a much-debated selection snub isn't lost on the BCCI but the governing body said it has no plans of sanctioning the batsman. The Hyderabadi, who was ignored in favour of all-rounder VijayShankar, created a frenzy by tweeting that he plans to buy 3D-glasses to watch the showpiece which begins May-30 in UK.
