Cash-for-marks racket unearthed at Anna varsity, 10 professors booked

Police officers have booked 10 professors for allegedly "receiving money" from some engineering students and giving them extra marks during the re-evaluation of answer sheets in Anna University, Chennai. Some of the professors allegedly took Rs 10,000 per student to forge their answer sheets. Of the over three lakh students who applied for re-evaluation, 73,733 passed and 16,636 got higher marks.
