Envoy's Arunachal visit shows our support for India's sovereignty: US

The US has said that American Ambassador Kenneth Juster's visit to Arunachal Pradesh highlights the US' support for Indian sovereignty. Juster inaugurated the seventh edition of the Tawang Festival in Arunachal Pradesh and was also the Chief Guest at the event. In 2016, China had opposed then-US Ambassador Richard Verma's visit to Arunachal Pradesh.
Independent Candidate Backed By Five Parties Wins Bypoll In Arunachal

Independent candidate Chakat Aboh has won from the Khonsa West constituency in Arunachal Pradesh assembly by-polls. She was backed by five major political parties of the state, both ruling and opposition. According to the Election Commission of India, Ms. Aboh won with a margin of 1886 votes against her nearest rival Azet Homtok, who was also an independent nominee.
Arunachal Man Develops New Tribal Script To Preserve "Wancho Language"

Linguist student Banwang Losu has developed an independent Wancho script in an attempt to preserve "Wancho language" spoken in several northeastern states. Wancho, one of the tribes in Arunachal Pradesh, lacked a script. Mr Losu has also got it enlisted in the US-based Unicode Consortium for online use. This means it can be used on the internet across the world.
