Congress Leaders' Houses "ATMs Of Black Money": Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi

Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that on one hand, the Congress has become a "Benami Sampati" and on the other, the house of the party leaders have become "ATMs of black money", from where huge quantity of black money is being recovered every day. Mr Naqvi said that every obstacle in the development of the people of Jammu and Kashmir will be removed.
Parliamentary panel asks RBI to fix dysfunctional ATMs

A parliamentary panel has asked Reserve Bank to address the problem of perpetually dysfunctional ATMs so as to avoid any situation of forced cash crunch. The Standing Committee on Finance has also asked banks to install adequate number of ATMs. The panel tabled its report in Parliament last-week. As per data of RBI, there were 2,21,492 ATMs in the country as at September-end 2018.

ATM operator companies are demanding that either banks bear the additional expenditure incurred on the upgrades and security measures or reimburse the operators. According to the Reserve Bank of India, there are 221,492 ATMs in the country as of September.
