India's decision to not join China's Belt and Road Initiative over sovereignty concerns related to CPEC has not affected the bilateral trade ties which have seen an "exponential-growth", India's Ambassador to China Vikram Misri has said. India skipped China's 2nd BRF held from April 25 to 27 aimed at showcasing its trillion-dollar BRI over its objection to USD 60-billion CPEC which passes through PoK.
No Grudges If India Decides To Skip Belt and Road Initiative Forum: China

China on Monday said it won't hold a grudge against India if it skipped the second edition of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) forum, an event related to the multi-billion dollar connectivity project, to be held this month. Beijing also said even though some countries have wrongly judged the project, the growing support for the initiative spoke volumes.
