Enforcement Directorate Questions Bhupinder Singh Hooda In Land Scam Case

The ED questioned former Haryana chief-minister and Congress-leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda in connection with an alleged money laundering case pertaining to the Manesar-land-scam-case. Bhupinder Singh Hooda is being questioned in connection with the Manesar land scam case at the Chandigarh zone office, sources said. The agency claimed that the value of the plot was Rs.64.93-crore but Bhupinder Singh Hooda gave it away for Rs.59-lakh.

Two-time former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) leader Dushyant Chautala, his mother Naina Chautala, sportsmen Sandeep Singh and Yogeshwar Dutt were among the 1,263 candidates who filed their nominations on October-4, the last day of filing of papers for the Assembly-polls in Haryana. The total number of nominations filed for 90 assembly-seats are 1,846, an election office spokesman said.
Charge Sheet Against Motilal Vora, Bhupinder Hooda In Land Allotment Case

The Enforcement Directorate on Monday filed its first charge sheet in a case of alleged irregularities in land allotment to the Congress-promoted Associated Journals Limited (AJL) in Panchkula and named veteran party leader Motilal Vora and former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda. Mr Vora, a Rajya Sabha member, is a general secretary in the Congress party.
