If I were not a minister today, I would be bidding for Air India: Piyush Goyal

As the government works on divesting debt-laden Air-India, Union-Minister Piyush Goyal said if he was not a minister, he would be bidding for the airline. Air-India has been in the red for long and government is now in the process of finalising the contours for its disinvestment. Bilaterals refers to an agreement between two-countries that allows each other's airlines to operate-services with a specific-number-of-seats.
Air India deal to be sweetened further, PIM likely by July 7

Moving at jet speed, the two-stage bid process for selling of entire 100 per cent equity stake in national carrier Air India could kickstart as early as July-7. The government has decided to come out with the PIM inviting EoI by the first week of July. The government had last year initiated the process to sell majority 74% stake in the national carrier.
TCNS Clothing IPO subscribed 2 times on second day of bidding

The initial public-offer of women’s apparel maker TCNS Clothing was subscribed 2-times on the second day of bidding. The public offer, to raise Rs 1,125 crore, received bids for 2,26,08,740 shares against the total issue size of 1,09,99,828 shares. The category reserved for qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) was subscribed 7 times, non institutional investors 9% and retail investors 8%, merchant banking sources said.
