Bigg Boss Season 2 in Tamil is facing opposition from right wing political group Hindu Makkal Katchi (IMK) once again. A video circulating on social media shows the party's founder-president Arjun Sampath criticising the show, and claiming that his outfit will conduct awareness sessions across the state in order for people to boycott the show.

Balaji has been slammed by netizens for abusing Nithya in Bigg Boss Tamil 2 house. Thadi Balaji and Nithya's relationship is deteriorating day by day in the Bigg Boss Tamil house. At every given opportunity, the former is abusing the latter, who, apparently, is not getting any support from the inmates in the Kamal Haasan-hosted show.

FEFSI has objected to Big Boss Tamil show being aired as over 90% of the workers employed do not belong to the union. As per the rules and regulations, at least 50% of the employees working on a project must belong to the union. Following this, the FEFSI has demanded the show be stopped from this weekend onwards.
