Former-student-leader Kanhaiya Kumar's convoy was attacked again as he was on his way back after a public-meeting in Bihar. The 33-year old, who is now part of the CPI, was addressing the people on the CAA along with other anti-CAA protesters as part of the march he is spearheading. The convoy came under attack while on way to Saharsa after a meeting at Supaul-district.
Nationwide NRC needless, has no justification: Nitish Kumar

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday asserted that a nationwide implementation of National Register of Citizens (NRC) was needless and had no justification. He made the remarks on the floor of the state assembly while thanking the House members for unanimously approving a constitutional amendment for extending quotas to SCs and STs by another 10 years.
70 Officers May Face Action For Lapses In Running Bihar Shelter Homes

Twenty-five IAS officers are among over 70 officials in Bihar who could face action for lapses in managing shelter homes in the state that was shook by sexual exploitation of over 40 girls at such facilities in 2018. The lapses tumbled out one after another during a probe by the CBI as it dug deep into the case for one-and-a-half years, officials said.
