The death toll in chemical factory explosion in Maharashtra's Dhule has risen to 12 and as many as 58 people have been injured in the incident. "Prima facie, multiple cylinders exploded at the factory," police said. Expressing grief over the incident, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has announced a compensation of Rs.5 lakh for the families of the deceased.

The number of people wounded in multiple bomb blasts in the Afghan city of Jalalabad has risen to 123, officials said on Tuesday, a day after 14 bombs exploded in public squares, markets and outside restaurants in the eastern city.
