Sources reveal what Jeff Bezos plans to charge for space rides

Startup Blue Origin founded by world's richest man Jeff Bezos will charge people between Rs 1.37 crore to Rs 2.05 crore for its first trips into space next year, a source reported on Friday. Its 'New Shepard' capsule can fly 6 passengers over 100 km above Earth into suborbital space. The capsule can reach high enough to experience a few minutes of weightlessness.

Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin Will Start Selling Tickets to Space Next Year

World's richest man Jeff Bezos' space startup Blue Origin may start selling tickets for space tourism to common people from 2019, the startup's senior VP Rob Meyerson said. The price of these tickets, however, has not been revealed yet. Blue Origin successfully flew its space tourism passenger capsule for the first time earlier this year.
