3 NIA Officers Transferred For Allegedly Taking Bribe In Terror Case

Three NIA officers have been transferred overnight for allegedly demanding Rs.2 crore in bribes to not name a Delhi-based businessman in a terror-funding case involving Mumbai attack mastermind Hafiz Saeed. The action against the officers, who have been shifted pending a "thorough examination of the matter", comes after the businessman, who has not been named, filed a complaint of misconduct with the agency.

T'gana Cop Caught Taking Bribe Day After Getting Best Constable Award

A policeman in Telangana was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe, within 24 hours after he was honoured with the 'best constable' award. Within a day, the police official was in the news again. He was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) with 17,000 in cash that he allegedly received as a bribe for not registering a case against a person.

Engineer Working With Bihar Government Arrested While Taking Bribe: Cops

An engineer employed with the Bihar government was on Saturday arrested while taking a bribe of Rs.14-lakh by the vigilance department, which also conducted a raid at his residence from where cash and documents relating to properties owned by him were seized. The arrested officials were being interrogated and they will be produced before a designated vigilance court in due course, the sources said.
