British Airways cancels nearly 100% flights over pilots strike

The British Airways has virtually grounded all flights after as many as 4,000-pilots have started a strike. Many flights from India to UK have been cancelled for Monday. The British Airline Pilots Association(Balpa) said that British Airways should share more of its profits with its pilots. British Airways issued a statement saying, We understand the frustration and disruption Balpa's strike action has caused you.
British Airways faces $230 mn fine over data theft

British Airways owner IAG said on Monday the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) intends to impose a penalty of 183.4 million pounds ($229.8 million) for the theft of customer data from the airline's website last year. The airline revealed last September that the credit card details of hundreds of thousands of its customers were stolen in an attack on its website and app.
Man sues British Airways for 'sitting him next to fat passenger'

A man is suing British Airways for 10,000 for "seating him next to an obese passenger" during a 12-hour flight from Bangkok to Heathrow, claiming he suffered back injuries as a result. "I could feel the weight of his pure bulk putting lateral pressure on my upper body," the man said. The airline denied the claims made by the man.
