Death toll mounts in Pakistan earthquake but panic subsides

At least 24-people were killed and 450 injured in an earthquake that hit Pakistani Kashmir, local officials said, but they added that rescue work was in full-swing and panic was subsiding. Tuesday's earthquake leveled homes and shops and split open roads in an area between the towns of Jhelum and Mirpur to the north, which is in Pakistan's portion of the disputed-territory of Kashmir.
Fringe Group Pays Tribute To Queen Victoria, Praises British Empire

The Hindu Sena, a right-wing group, paid tributes to Queen Victoria on Tuesday, marking her 118th death anniversary. The ceremony was organised in New Delhi. Members of the Hindu Sena praised Queen Victoria, saying it was she who "freed India from the autocratic rule of the Mughals." Mr Yadav went on to make a bizarre claim that the British Empire was "not autocratic".
