CBI Raids Former Haryana Chief Minister BS Hooda In Land Deal Case

The CBI conducted a raid at residence of former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda in connection with irregularities in land allotments in Gurugram. After the raid, the ex-chief minister said, "They can't silence me with this action. This is a political vendetta against me," Hooda said after the raid. The agency is tight-lipped about the details of the case as search operation is underway.

Former Haryana CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda and businessman Robert Vadra, the brother-in-law of Congress President Rahul Gandhi, have been booked for alleged irregularities in several land deals in 2008 in Gurugram. Following this, Vadra said, "Election season, increase in oil prices... so let's divert real people's issues with my decade-old issue. Whats new?"
