Govt's hydraulic lift push in 1,000 capital buses

The Delhi government on Friday approved the proposal of reimbursing the incremental cost for fitment of Hydraulic lifts in 1,000 standard floor CNG buses. The proposal of the department of Transport was approved in the meeting of Delhi Cabinet chaired by CM, Arvind Kejriwal. The reimbursement cost of each bus is Rs.3,63,396, which means government will reimburse Rs.36,33,96,000 (including GST), to the concessionaire.
Delhi: Get 10% discount on using Metro-card in DTC buses

To encourage the use of public transport among commuters amid rising air pollution levels in Delhi, the Delhi Cabinet today approved a proposal by which one can avail 10% discount on using the Metro card in DTC cluster buses. "This was necessary, in view of rising air pollution to encourage more and more people to use public transport," Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said.
Back on track: Low-floor bus employees end strike in Jaipur

After 29-days the strike of the staff of low-floor buses ended on Monday and buses started plying again. The striking employees formally gave a letter to the managing director of JCTSL informing him about the decision of ending the strike. After the model code of conduct came into force in the state from October 6, all the agitating employee unions have ended their strike.
