#GoodNews: Delhi Airport Uses Scrap Material to Build 4 Cafeterias

Four cafeterias have been constructed out of recycled material at Delhi airport's international and domestic terminals for airport staff and visitors. The cafeterias were built completely using scrap which was generated from the renovation of Terminal 1D and Terminal 3. Scrap from the airport building, dismantled parts of machines and plastic structures and recycled material has been used.

Google parent Alphabet had more contract workers than direct employees for the first time ever earlier this year, according to Bloomberg. The workers who are referred to as TVCs or "temps, vendors and contractors", are reportedly not entitled to stock, insurance or other benefits accorded to direct employees. Alphabet reported 89,058 direct employees at the end of the June quarter.
