Immune discovery 'may treat all cancer'

A new type of immune cell that kills most cancers has been discovered by accident by British scientists. That new T-cell was discovered when the team was analyzing blood from a bank in Wales, looking for immune cells. The new T-cell carries a never-before-seen receptor which acts like a grappling hook, latching on to cancers, while ignoring healthy cells.

Union-Minister Ashwini Choubey attested to the significance of cow-urine in the health-sciences, saying that it can be used to treat-serious ailments that have long baffled medical-practitioners. "Several medicines, including those used to treat-cancer, are prepared using cow urine. The centre is also working on this under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana," he was heard telling reporters at Coimbatore, Tamil-Nadu, in a video released by news-agency.

Electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products are not helping fight cancer, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Friday, urging smokers and governments not to trust claims from cigarette firms about their latest products. The seventh "WHO report on the global tobacco epidemic" said blocking the industry's interference was critical to cutting the harm from tobacco use.
