"We're Not Naive": Amarinder Singh To Minister On Citizenship Act

Taking exception to the remarks made by Union Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, Punjab-CM Amarinder Singh came out in support of the resolution passed by the Kerala-Assembly seeking amendment to the controversial CAA and termed it as the "voice of the people". The CM also took a dig at the Law-Minister for reminding the states of their "constitutional-duty to implement such laws".
65 Arrested Over Protests Against Citizenship Act In Ghaziabad

Sixty-five people were arrested and 350, including a former legislator, have been charged for allegedly spreading violence over the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the police said on Saturday. A special drive has been launched to arrested those resorting to violence and pelting stones on police during protests, they said. An FIR has been also lodged against former Loni MLA Zakir Ali, he added.
