Parcel explodes at courier office in Punjab, 2 hurt

Two persons were injured Wednesday in a low-intensity explosion after a package blew up at the office of a courier company in Moga, police said. The injured have been identified as Vikas Sood and Rakesh, they said. Sood and Rakesh were taken to Ludhiana DMC hospital and Moga civil hospital, respectively.

The Civil-Hospital recently dealt with two very rare cases of spinal-abnormalities involving a 25-year-old and a 16-year-old, and successfully provided respite to both patients. Devilal (25) from Rajasthan, was afflicted by a rare condition known as Ankylosing Spondylitis which led to his spine being rigid and bent while Subham (16) from Rajkot had Syringomyelia, a condition which leads to cysts developing on the spine.
