Man Traveling From Colombia Ingested 246 Bags Of Cocaine, Died Midflight

A passenger of Japanese origin died midflight from Colombia to Japan after ingesting hundreds of bags of cocaine, authorities said. The man, identified only as Udo N., 42, began suffering seizures Friday on flight, prompting an emergency landing in Hermosillo, a city in Sonora, Mexico, authorities said. Upon landing, he was pronounced dead. A passenger of Japanese origin died midflight from Colombia to Japan.

Fisherman, In Island Near US, Hauls 48 Kg Cocaine On Fishing Trip

A fisherman in Marshall Islands netted more than he bargained for when he hauled in his catch to find a-suspected 48-kilos of cocaine. The white powder, professionally wrapped and taped in plastic-bags, had a-street-value of about US$4 million, police said. "We're pretty sure we got all of it," deputy police commissioner Robson Almen added, saying there was no-indication the packs had broken-out from a-larger-bundle.
