Courier caught with 17kg gold at Surat railway station

The railway-police have nabbed a courier-service-employee who was carrying a package of 17 kg of gold, estimated to cost Rs 5.1 crore, from Surat-railway station on Thursday evening. The man had boarded Suryanagri Express from Borivali railway-station in Mumbai. When the cops, who found his actions and demeanour "suspicious", checked his bag, they recovered gold-biscuits. The railway authorities handed him over to the Surat-police.
