India's CDAC, France Atos sign contract onsupercomputers

India's Centre for Development of Advanced Computing and France's IT services company Atos Saturday signed a three-year industrial contract for designing, building and installing the BullSequana, its high-performance supercomputers, in the country. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of Jean Yves Le Drian, French minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs and Ajay Prakash Sawhney, secretary Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
Comments in cyberspace on polls will be monitored: CEO

Telangana Chief Electoral Officer Rajath Kumar Monday said comments on social media would be monitored and any move to influence polls in cyberspace would be treated as criminal offence. The official said the collection of voter data was progressing on the “right track” and the deadline of October 8 for announcing the final list of voters, will be met.
