Nirav Modi Likely To Be Given Confirmed Date Of Trial By UK Court Today

Fugitive diamantaire Nirav Modi, wanted in connection with the nearly USD 2-billion PNB fraud and money laundering case, will appear before a UK court via video-link from a London prison today for a routine "call-over" remand hearing. Nirav, who is fighting extradition to India at Westminster Magistrates' Court, is expected to be given a confirmed date for his trial, expected in May next year.
NRC across country, will send excluded out: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted that the NRC will be introduced throughout India and all illegal immigrants will be thrown out of the country through legal means. He also said that people of the country have given its stamp of approval for the nationwide-implementation of the National Register of Citizens through the verdict of the 2019 elections.
Tickets of Tejas Express to be sold from tomorrow

Tejas Express, India's first private train, will operate from October 4. Meanwhile, a report of Amar Ujala has claimed that the tickets of the train will be issued from September 20, i.e. tomorrow, for its first run on October 4. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will flag off the Lucknow-Delhi Tejas Express on October 4.
