PM-UDAY scheme being implemented by DDA on top priority: Official

The PM-UDAY scheme to confer ownership rights to people living in unauthorised colonies in the national capital is being implemented by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) "on top priority", officials said. Under the PM-UDAY (PM Unauthorized Colonies in Delhi Awas Adhikar Yojana), a portal has been developed mainly for two purposes, registration of residents and filing application for conferment of rights in unauthorised colonies.
DDA employees donate one days salary for Kerala flood relief

Employees of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) have donated their one day's salary for assisting flood-affected people of Kerala, the urban body said. The amount raised to the tune of over Rs 1.2 crore has been sent to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund, the DDA said. The payment for an amount of Rs 1,20,13,744 has been sent through cheque, it said.
Delhi Development Authority to finalise land pooling policy today

The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is going to finalise the much-awaited land pooling policy on Friday. The decision was taken in a board meeting held on Thursday. Notified in 2013, the policy was introduced to aid planned development in newly notified urbanisable areas by assembling land owned by private players and bringing them aboard as developers.
