Cab Drivers Not Fined For Not Keeping Condom In First-Aid Kit: Delhi Cops

Delhi Traffic Police clarified on Saturday that cab drivers were not being penalised for not carrying condoms in the first aid kits of their vehicles. "There is nothing mentioned in The Motor Vehicles Act about condoms. We are not issuing any challan to drivers for not having condoms in their first aid kits," Special Commissioner of Police, Traffic, Taj Hasan told ANI.

Delhi traffic cops to pay double penalty if found violating new rules

Delhi police personnel will have to pay twice the penalty if they violate traffic rules in the national capital, according to an official order. For instance, if a Delhi traffic police personnel is caught not wearing helmet, he will be fined Rs.2,000 instead of Rs.1,000, as prescribed under the amended Motor Vehicles Act.

On Video, Delhi Woman Stopped For Riding Without Helmet Throws A Fit

A woman was caught on camera throwing a fit at a traffic-policeman in west Delhi's Mayapuri on Tuesday, after she and a man on whose scooter she was riding pillion were stopped for not wearing helmets. They have been arrested, according to news-agency ANI. In the video, woman is seen getting off from the two-wheeler and pushing the traffic policeman while shouting at him.
