Proper diet is key to preventing chronic kidney disease

A new research published in the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics reveals that a right diet can slow chronic kidney disease (CKD), but 90% of patients who do not require dialysis, never see a dietitian. The complications can be significantly minimised by dietary modification. Hence, dietary interventions are essential in individuals with end-stage renal disease or CKD.
