Fuel Prices Cut By Up To 50 Paise Per Litre In Metros

Fuel rates were further slashed by up to 50 paise/litre across the four-metro cities on Sunday by OMCs. Petrol was priced at Rs.74.84/litre in Delhi, Rs.76.82/litre in Kolkata, Rs.80.38/litre in Mumbai and Rs.77.69/litre in Chennai, according to IOC. Diesel rates stood at Rs.69.70/litre in Delhi, Rs.71.55/litre in Kolkata, Rs.72.99/litre in Mumbai and Rs.73.63/litre in Chennai.

Fuel prices have increased yet again, as petrol in Delhi today costs Rs.82.83/litre, while in Mumbai, price of petrol is Rs.88.29/litre. Hence, there has been an increase of 11 paise/litre. On the other hand, diesel in Delhi costs Rs.75.69/litre, while in Mumbai, the price of diesel is Rs.79.35. Hence, there has been an increase of 23 and 24 paise respectively.

Fuel prices increased yet again, as petrol in New Delhi today costs Rs.82.36/litre, while in Mumbai, it costs Rs.87.82/litre. Hence, there has been 10 paise and 9 paise rise in prices in two cities. Diesel, on the other hand, costs Rs.74.62/litre in New Delhi, while in Mumbai, the price of diesel stands at Rs.78.22, an increase of 27 and 29 paise.
