UP govt approves metro corridor project connecting Noida to Greater Noida

The Uttar Pradesh government on Tuesday approved the construction of an extension line of the Noida-Greater Noida Metro at a cost of Rs.2,682-crore, officials said. The 14.95 km long extension metro link will run between Noida Sector 71 and Greater Noida Knowledge Park-V, connecting the twin cities in Gautam Buddh Nagar district adjoining Delhi, the officials of the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) said.
DMRC will take over Gurugram Rapid Metro

The DMRC has taken over the operations of the Rapid Metro Link, Gurugram from Tuesday night. Services on the 11.6 km corridor, developed by RMGL and RMGSL, will continue to operate as per the normal time table as earlier."The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation will take over the operations and maintenance of the Rapid Metro Link at Gurugram from tonight, 22 October 2019," DMRC tweeted.
Technical Glitch Delays Delhi Metro Blue Line Service

Services were resumed on the Blue-Line Metro after a brief technical snag had hit the line on Thursday afternoon leading to delay. "Normal services have resumed. We regret the inconvenience," DMRC tweeted. Earlier, it had tweeted, "Blue Line Update, Delay in services between Dwarka and Rajiv Chowk." "Passengers can use the Magenta-Line from Janakpuri West or Botanical-Garden to reach Dwarka or Noida," said DMRC.
